People choose to home school their child for a number of different reasons. It may be that the child is sick and cannot go to school on a day to day basis or that they feel they can offer their child a better one and one education. Often parents will try putting their child in to school first and then discover that it does not seem suited to them so will take them out. Some parents remove their child from school and home school instead due to bullying.

Some people think that it is illegal to not send your child to school, which is correct unless they are being home schooled then this is ok. Home schooling should not be used as an escape from school life as it is important to teach children how to cope in situations that they find uncomfortable or hard. Although anyone can home school their child, you will need to submit certain paperwork and provide evidence for the work you and your child are doing. Home school parents must make sure that their kids get the instruction and the experiences they need as they would if they were at school.
